Spring Group plc, the Human Capital Management specialist has acquired web-based recruitment pioneer Hy-phen.com. William Minns, founder and chief executive of Hy-phen.com, joins Spring as a member of the technology and business development team.
Hy-phen is a web-based recruitment business based in London. Its web-enabled recruitment software will be used to complement Spring's existing technology. The combination of Hy-phen's and Spring's technology will enhance Spring's offering to major recruiters, allowing them to use Spring's fully integrated web operating system to control all aspects of the recruitment process, including the management of temporary contracts.
Laurent Chen, Spring's chief technology officer, commented: We plan to integrate Hy-phen's already proven website functionality into Spring's
existing technology, thereby accelerating our technology development in a time and cost efficient manner.
