isero.com launches Talking Job!

isero.com launches Talking Job! to give individual companies and the HR sector the competitive edge when trying to recruit the best candidates.

As many companies struggle with skills shortages and, as the lowest jobless figures for 25 years mean a dearth of good recruits, HR professionals desperately need to find a way to attract the best candidates for interview.

Following the successful launch of Talking CV! last year which enabled candidates to market themselves to future employers, isero researched ways in which it could adapt the existing technology to provide a ìcandidate attraction mechanismî for companies. The result is Talking Job!, which integrates video, text and graphics to give companies a well-structured opportunity to sell themselves prior to interview, plus allow potential applicants to view these companies in advance over the Internet.

Stewart Keiller, managing director of isero.com comments on the launch of Talking Job!:

ìThe launch of Talking Job! has come at a vital time for the HR and recruitment sectors as quite a lot of businesses are experiencing difficulty in attracting high quality staff.î

ìIt is simply not enough to advertise a vacancy anymore. Personnel departments and recruiters need to make the case for a company and the jobs it has to offer if it wants to attract quality people. Talking Job! can include video clips of senior executives talking about the company and its aspirations, line managers explaining the role and even team members giving the hands-on view.î

isero is making Talking Job! available to its customers in two ways. Companies can either buy the software themselves to create their own Talking Job! or, alternatively, isero will design, develop and manage Talking Job! on a companyís behalf. This latter service would include everything from data capture and design to the draft of contents and publication on the Internet and CD-Rom.
