The new search and selection consultancy, Grays Executive Search, is taking the recruitment market by storm with the opening of a second office in Birmingham and the launch of an Executive Interim search division, headed up by ex-Michael Page Director, Phillip Machell.
This announcement comes just three months after the executive recruitment specialists first opened their doors at the exciting redevelopment at Kings Cross, London.
Grays Executive Search specialises in senior and board level recruitment across a range of sectors and is part of Cordant Recruitment, the second-largest privately owned recruitment company in the UK.
Its expansion is six months ahead of its plans to create a footprint outside of London, accelerated by the rapidly rising demand for both its executive and interim search services in the UK and overseas.
The consultancy has doubled its team to six specialist consultants who will work between London and Birmingham, and the company plans to open a third office in Manchester later in the year.
Phillip Machell will be based at the new Birmingham office as Managing Director of Grays Executive Interim division. He has 22 years experience in senior level recruitment and an outstanding track record in the interim space. As Executive Director at Michael Page for four years, Phillip worked under Simon Bell, now Group Managing Director for Grays Executive, and together they masterminded the success of Michael Page's Executive Interim division. Phillip has also been managing director for a leading recruiter in the manufacturing and rail sector, and has had a lot of experience in the interim automotive industry.
