Training providers turn to jeanbrodies.com

A new on-line recruitment service is helping to solve the staffing problems of training providers across the country.

www.jeanbrodies.com. is a new on-line recruitment service that caters for the staff recruitment needs of the post-16 education sector.

Training providers, such as NVQ centres and colleges, have traditionally found it hard to recruit and retain quality staff.

As the MD of a training centre herself Kamla Levers had become frustrated with the constant battle to find well-qualified assessors and trainers.

She said: ìI decided that the only solution was to set up a network that would match training providers with skilled personnelî.

ìMy husband and I came up with the concept of Jeanbrodies.com ñ and established it with the simple goal of providing an efficient and cost effective method of recruiting training staffî.

ìThe website is particularly suited to the needs of the smaller training provider and we already have many experienced job seekers with vocational experience and training qualifications posting their CVs on the siteî.

ìTraining providers can display their job vacancies on the site and search the database of CVs for NVQ assessors, verifiers, trainers, lifelong learning managers, basic skills staff, Health & Safety officers and many moreî.

Subscribing training providers can post an unlimited number of vacancies on the site, print off CVs and contact applicants directly and even advertise training courses on-line.

Mrs Levers said: ìWe are already receiving fantastic feedback with both employers and employees telling us that this is just the sort of service the industry has been crying out forî.

ìWe are trying to keep the cost as low as possible in order to sign up as many recruiters and trainers as we can. We have had a great initial response in the North West and already other areas of the country are beginning to approach usî.
