Resilience training key to efficient, productive and engaged employees

Workshops help staff boost energy, manage priorities & create hours of productive time

A series of workshops focusing on managing pressure and building personal resilience has resulted in dramatic changes in working practices for many employees, freeing up valuable hours previously eaten up by inefficient planning, travel time, ineffectual meetings, low energy and lack of engagement.

One participant reported. 'This is the best training course I’ve ever attended. The changes I’ve made since the workshop have helped me restructure my working month and create a more efficient routine for how I manage my time. This has in turn made the work schedule of my entire team more efficient. I also learnt to make lifestyle changes that boosted my energy and efficiency which means that not only do I have more time, I can also stay focused and make better use of this time.'

The workshops are delivered by wellness company The Tonic and stress experts Managing Pressure, and focus on topics such as building personal resilience, managing energy levels, and creating high performing teams, with the emphasis on practical actions that can be implemented right away.

Cathy Connolly who commissioned a series of workshops said, ‘We’re delighted with the feedback we’ve received. The organisation is always busy and faces pressures and challenges as any business does these days, but providing staff with just a few hours when they can pause and consider how they work has proved invaluable.'

The Tonic Director Jeff Archer commented. ‘The workshops are a great opportunity for staff to look beyond the pressures of the moment and develop strategies and actions that have positive impact today and in the long-term. Bruce Hoverd from Managing Pressure added, ‘The chance for staff to reassess strategies and attitudes to a range of situations ensures extremely committed planning, with participants leaving workshops motivated to take prompt action’.
