Redsheriff announce new initiative in support of website auditing

Reduced costs for website traffic audits

RedSheriff, a leading interactive measurement and research specialist, has announced that it is to offer site owners in the UK a reduced fee for the measurement and filtering of website traffic data for ABC ELECTRONIC audits.

ABC ELECTRONIC already offers a 50% reduction off its registration fee for those sites that choose to use RedSheriff for their measurement solution. RedSheriff is now adding to this by introducing a reduction on its own measurement fee.

This has been created in agreement with ABC ELECTRONIC to encourage increased take-up of independent auditing of website traffic within the new media community.

RedSheriff identified the difficulty experienced by some of its clients in meeting the requirements of the ABC ELECTRONIC audit process, as this involves providing accurate, filtered data and statistical reports to industry agreed standards. RedSheriff can complete this process without clientsí having to invest in extra manpower or technology, at a cost-effective price. They can then submit this data to ABC ELECTRONIC who can verify that the figures claimed by the company regarding website traffic are compliant.

RedSheriff is a member of the ABC ELECTRONIC associate subscriber scheme. Members of the scheme include counting solution providers, ad agencies, web hosting and data management companies that support the evolution and promotion of standards for website traffic measurement.

Vivek Nath, sales director of RedSheriff commented: ìThis joint initiative is a great step forward for the industry as it brings the ability of auditing to a wider client base. Through working closely with ABC ELECTRONIC we have seen how the industry has benefited from the work they are doing.î
Tim Rodda, head of business development at ABC ELECTRONIC commented: ìWe are delighted to continue working closely with RedSheriff and this initiative further signifies our joint commitment to promoting web standards in the UK.î

ìFor the Internet to grow as a medium and command a healthy share of marketing investment, the new media industry needs to be accountable. Audits to agreed industry standards is the very least new media companies should offer its investors so that the industry has a currency on which to trade.î

ìAssociate Subscribers like RedSheriff are crucial to the audit process as they can help reduce the cost and time involved in achieving certification.î
