In an industry first, recruitment agency figureheads are supporting the Last Night a DJ Saved My Life Foundation, a charity that helps deliver fresh, usable, water to villages in crisis. Building easily accessible wells creates the time needed for families to be educated and closer to paid employment.
The charity campaign is entitled ‘Have a Drink on Us’ and is being run in conjunction with the MembersOnly Retreat, a two-day high-performance learning and development event for recruitment leaders. A portion of each event ticket sold is being given to the charity, meaning attendees are directly helping to make a difference.
In addition, each of the event’s partners have committed to building one well each, with headline partner cube19 backed by Broadbean, Bullhorn, Volcanic and CloudCall. The target is for the recruitment industry to fund eight wells.
Simon Lewis, CEO of MembersOnly and the Retreat organiser comments: “Dovetailing this unique event with such a fantastic cause, is truly wonderful. The first well is already being built, with more planned in line with the event.
