Recruiters investigate insider dealing at VacancyWatch.com

Innovative online recruitment business model

Portland Intelligence Limited, the company behind the popular career-change website I-resign.com, has announced the launch of its new business-to-business service, VacancyWatch.com. A revolutionary new business development tool, VacancyWatch uses insider information to tell recruitment consultants and classified advertising teams exactly which companies have a current, or imminent staffing requirement. It aims to provide this information before any other news source, in print or on the web.

The beauty of VacancyWatch is its simplicity, says Kauser Kanji, sales director at Portland Intelligence. Many of I-resign.com''s visitors tell us about the job they''re going to quit which, in most cases, makes us the first external organisation to know that there is now an open position at the firm just waiting to be filled. By making this inside information available for the first time, we hope to give our subscribers a head start in the race to build new client relationships and place their candidates.

Over 2,700 open vacancies are already logged on the site and of these, approximately a quarter represent vacant positions in British companies. In addition, the company expect 500 new UK positions to be advertised every month, rising to around 1,000 a month by the end of the year.

As well as benefiting employers by cutting the time it takes to hire a replacement, we hope to supply every recruiter with the sort of inside information that only the biggest players have been able to dream of until now. VacancyWatch has opened up a new, inherently level playing field, Kanji explains.
