QCareers.com Launches Its Unique Professional On-Line Resourcing Business - 03/2000

New Websites For Jobseekers & Employers

QCareers.com, the business which aims to revolutionise the way in which professional jobseekers and employers come together, has launched its first recruitment websites for professionals, focusing on newly and recently qualified accountants, taxation specialists and financial managers. Sites for the graduate, legal, banking, management consultancy, human resources, e-business and IT/telecoms markets are expected in the next few months.

QCareers.com was formed at the end of 1999 by Bruce Page and James Wheeler, both seasoned recruiters of professional people. Their experience and research demonstrated a need amongst employers for an effective and modern strategic alternative to the high costs and variable results of 20th century resourcing methods, and amongst professional jobseekers for a user friendly, focused, web based search facility. The QCareers.com concept involves employers displaying career vacancies and corporate information on the relevant QCareers.com website. Employers add and remove their own vacancies and communicate directly on-line with those jobseekers that contact them, anywhere in the world. Jobseekers access the sites for free and apply directly by e-mail to the employer. Employers and jobseekers also have access to a comprehensive library of advisory and e-business material published by QCareers.com.

As part of its launch for the financial community, QCareers.com has signed an exclusive agreement with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, which has granted the company accredited status under the Institute's ABG Professional Information Affinity Programme. The QCareers.com site thus provides an approved service to members as well as offering links to the Institute's site.
