Specialist business services provider Optionis has been recognised in this year’s Sunday Times Grant Thornton Top Track 250 league table.
Published this Sunday (11th October), the Top Track 250 ranks private mid-market companies that have increased their sales and profit growth by at least 10% over the past year of trading.
The ranking reflects Optionis’ ambitious acquisition and growth strategy, which has seen it acquire specialist tax solutions providers Brian Alfred and Arnsco in the last 12 months. The group, which is also home to Parasol, ClearSky Contractor Accounting, ClearSky Business and ClearSky Pub Solutions, has also invested in a new accountancy academy at its Cheshire headquarters.
In addition, the company recently appointed a new managing director for its SME division to lead a 60-strong team across Optionis’ offices in Warrington, Poole and Hounslow. This comes as Optionis looks to grow its small business offering via partnerships and a buy and build strategy.

Backed by private equity firm MML Capital Partners, Optionis employs around 350 office-based and field staff across several UK sites. Group turnover for 2014/15 was £314m.
