The AOL-Monster Alliance in the US, mentioned in our March Edition, recently came under threat after a court ruling reinforced the one-year, $540,000 deal made previousily between Hotjobs.com and DigitalCity, part of AOL. Though this ruling currently affects the intended exclusive featuring of Monster in all of AOL's jobs channels, the use of Monster's content in providing careers advice and the like is unaffected.
