MidlandHR triumphed at the CIPP's Payroll and Pensions Excellence Awards last night, receiving two prestigious titles

MidlandHR triumphed at the CIPP's Payroll and Pensions Excellence Awards last night, receiving two prestigious titles. The leading talent management, HR and payroll software and outsourcing services provider won two of the most coveted awards: 'Service Provider of the year' and 'Software Product of the Year'.

Now in their twelfth year, the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) Awards were established to recognise individuals and organisations in the industry who demonstrate payroll and/or pensions excellence, and their positive impact on the UK economy. Five leading industry figures were asked to judge this year's entries which Lindsay Melvin, CEO of the CIPP described as 'testament to the great work the pensions and payroll industry does'. Held at Celtic Manor Resort in Wales, the awards also saw MidlandHR's customer, Admiral Insurance, being awarded 'Project of the Year' for its approach to automatic enrolment compliance.

Commenting on the double win, Matthew Jenkins, Chief Operating Officer at MidlandHR, said: "Winning awards for both our services and our iTrent technology highlights the strength of our solutions across the board, which now support over 10% of the UK workforce and together are a winning combination.

"MidlandHR currently supports the operational and strategic needs of over 600 organisations, who are able to choose from a cloud-based solution, a fully outsourced service, or a combination of the two. We are continuously working to deliver business improvement and transformation by collaborating and engaging with our customers to understand what they want and how we can best deliver maximum value.  Our commitment to delivering consistently high levels of service to our customers sees our HR and Payroll Outsourcing Centre processing in excess of 6.5 billion of BACS payments per annum, with legislative compliance as a critical priority.

"This service is supported by our highly qualified teams and a continual investment in our people, with 95.5% of our team CIPP or CIPD qualified or studying.  This focus on talent management and development has also been recognised through our recent PQP re-accreditation. We are constantly monitoring, analysing and acting upon customers' feedback to ensure continual improvement and dedication to quality and customer satisfaction, demonstrated by our 98% customer retention rate."

Emma Long, HRO Operations Director, MidlandHR, adds: "We are thrilled to have this double-award win and to hear the judges specifically highlight our commitment to customer service along with our 'determination concerning future technology and innovation', and our 'outstanding professional development of our payroll teams' was the icing on the cake.

"Our services are underpinned by our world class technology. Our solution pushes the boundaries of functionality for HR and payroll departments. Its configurability, ease of use and innovation ensures rapid return on investment and transformation, whilst delivering the strategic needs of organisations regardless of size, industry or complexity.  We invest significantly in research and development to ensure we are always one step ahead of legislative compliance and attain excellence through the best customer experience possible.  In the past year, MidlandHR has also invested significantly in a new customer portal, Service Cloud, which has helped our Service Desk provide world class support."

At last night's awards, MidlandHR was also presented with its recent PQP re-accreditation. MidlandHR was one of the first organisations to achieve the CIPP's PQP Accreditation which provides further recognition of the company's commitment to its people and customers.
