Macildowie welcomes crop of new starters

A leading Midlands recruitment specialist has announced the appointment of eight new starters to their growing team, as the demand for quality candidates across the region continues to increase.

Macildowie, which has offices across the East Midlands, has welcomed six new members of staff to their Nottingham office and a further two in Leicester.

These new positions, which have been created to supplement the growth of the business and match greater client demands, will focus on the recruitment and placement of candidates across a range of specialist areas and businesses within the region.

In Nottingham, Dwayne Simms joins the human resources team, the procurement and supply chain division welcomes Gary Simpson and Peter Currah-Hill, Jo Hooker will specialise in sourcing and placing marketing professionals, whilst Nicola Roe and Stephen Reece join the team specialising in business and operations support recruitment. It’s a pinnacle time for the company, which earlier this year announced an ambitious three-year growth strategy called “Building Great Futures”, with internal staff investment and development as its priority.

Additionally, Michelle Ryall joins the support team in the Leicester office, whilst Robyn Brown joins the team as a recruitment consultant specialising in Business and Operational support roles.

James Taylor, director of customer development and marketing at Macildowie comments:

“It’s an exciting time for the team here at Macildowie as we embark on some ambitious growth plans over the next few years. Our main goal is to create an environment where every single person feels that they are able to perform to the best of their ability and to continue to develop our infrastructure to allow everyone to reach their personal and team goals. The Employee Value Proposition we offer aims to develop career longevity at Macildowie and provide opportunities for everyone to build their career within the business.”

“These new recruits will play an integral part in this exciting chapter of Macildowie’s growth, and I look forward to seeing their careers develop within the business.”
