The new starters will be working at Macildowie offices across the region, as the award winning recruitment consultancy continues to expand in size to help businesses fill the growing number of available positions.

The new recruits will be joining one of the best employers in the UK, after Macildowie finished fifth in the 2014 Sunday Times Top 100 Small Companies to work for.

Andy Fitton starts at Macildowie with nine years experience working in procurement and supply chain recruitment. Andy will be focusing on the hiring of professionals in the manufacturing and engineering sectors, covering North Midlands, South Yorkshire and Staffordshire areas.

Having previously worked for a specialist sales recruitment agency, Colin Orr joins as a recruitment consultant hiring mid-tier sales positions across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Staffordshire and Lincolnshire.

With a sharp increase in the number of business operations and office support positions available, Hope Dawson will start as a recruitment consultant, hiring receptionists, personal assistants, administrators and customer service agents across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

Ben Lody and Chris McKeown both join Macildowie as talent pipeline specialists, helping to nurture new talent across the Midlands.

With a background in recruiting sales & operation professionals in the oil and gas industry, Huw Marsden starts at Macildowie and will be responsible for recruiting part-qualified and newly-qualified accountants across Milton Keynes and the surrounding area.

“We have taken on the new team members to cope with the growing number of vacancies across the region”, commented James Calder, chief executive of Macildowie.

“As a business we have been working tirelessly during the economic downturn to create an environment where we can react quickly to changes within the market. Our ambitious growth plans requires us to hire a combination of experienced consultants and trainees, to work across a range of disciplines.

“We are all confident that the work we have put in over the last four years means that there is no better place to be if you want a successful career in recruitment.

“I am delighted to welcome our six new starters and look forward to watching them progressing and achieving great things in the coming months.”
