The Grosvenor House on Park Lane, London was host last night to the annual TARGETjobs National Graduate Recruitment Awards, the largest graduate recruitment event in Europe, now in its eleventh year. The awards were presented by Lenny Henry and attended by around 1,400 guests from the world of graduate recruitment. The headline sponsor of the TARGETjobs National Graduate Recruitment Awards 2015 was National Grid.
L'Oréal fought off stiff competition from Teach First, Barratt Developments, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and previous winners Enterprise Rent-A-Car and IBM to win the prestigious Graduate Employer of the Year Award. In all, there were 28 awards awarded on the night including best website, best marketing campaign, best school leaver programme and best innovation on campus.
In addition to the top award, L'Oréal won one of the two Marketing Campaign awards and were voted the most popular FMCG employer.
The night’s other stand-out performance came from Barclays, who won all three awards for recruiters targeting students from schools and colleges.
