Jobsite Wins Advertising Award - 07/2000

New York Ceremony

Jobsiteís ìPrince Charlesî advertising campaign has received a prestigious award at the New York Festival of Advertising. The design by Springer & Jacoby International, was selected ahead of 12,000 entries from 64 countries, to scoop a finalist certificate in the dot.com category of the 2000 Print Advertising Competition.

Other aspects of the Jobsite campaign made headlines earlier this year when a team of Jobsite traffic wardens flyposted cars and motor cycles in central London with the message ìDear traffic warden, we can offer you 13,000 jobs daily that people wonít hate you forî.

In contrast to the mass TV advertising favoured by some other e-cruitment sites, Jobsite developed a highly targeted campaign to reach quality candidates through a variety of so called ìguerrillaî tactics.

Chris Newson, marketing director of Jobsite commented ìThe media is awash with dot.com advertising at the moment and we are delighted that our campaign has stood out amongst a very competitive field of international entrants. The advertising was well received both by candidates and recruiters, and has played a key role in helping us maintain our position as market leaderî.
