JobsInTrucks.com takes the lead to become the #1 Job Board for drivers

JobsInTrucks.com announced today that its traffic growth during the past four months has surpassed all other competitive job boards

JobsInTrucks.com, the leading niche job board for truck drivers, announced today that its traffic growth during the past four months has surpassed all other competitive job boards. Revenues for JobsInTrucks.com increased by 47 percent during 2007 compared to the previous year.

Launched in March 2004, JobsInTrucks.com is a division of JobsInLogistics.com, the award winning, leading job board for the logistics and transportation professions.

Traffic statistics were provided by Hitwise, the pioneer in online competitive intelligence service. Hitwise collects and aggregates information from Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to record how consumers use and search the Internet. Their data allows companies like JobsInTrucks.com to benchmark their websites against competitors and determine popularity among target audiences. JobsInTrucks.com conducted a year-long study on the traffic and graphed phenomenal increases each month in 2007.

ìOur president, Don Firth, has operated trucking fleets in Canada and the USA and he understands our target audience. He has the greatest admiration for truck drivers and desires to assist them in finding the best driver jobs across North America,î said Amy Noah, vice president, sales. ìThat approach has led us to become the number one job board for drivers.î

JobsInTrucks.com was specially designed for drivers to find quality driving jobs and for companies to target experienced drivers. Job searching is direct and concise, beginning on the home page. Drivers have the option to create a universal driver application form, which focuses on their specific driving record and experience. They can use this form to easily apply for positions. Fleet operators can advertise driver jobs and receive immediate alerts for all new drivers who register on JobsInTrucks.com and qualify for posted positions.

JobsInTrucks.com continues to grow rapidly, currently listing more than 7,500 jobs for drivers and over 80,000 driver profiles in the resume database. This is increasing by more than 10,000 new driver applications per month. Our goal is to continue to expand the driver employment site, said Don Firth. To this end, we recently acquired TruckJobs.com, one of the pioneering driver job boards, established in 1996, which we will soon merge with JobsInTrucks.com.
