Jobs & Adverts AG and FT Germany cooperate - 11/2000

Europe's career market

Jobs & Adverts, the creator of jobpilot, Europe's career market on the Internet, has agreed with the German Financial Times (Financial Times Deutschland) and its interactive job market PositioNet on a comprehensive joint venture scheme.

Top job vacancies from the e-business and finance sectors are online at both jobpilot and PositioNet, as well as in the printed edition of PositioNet each Friday in the German Financial Times. In addition, a channel for positions in the finance sector will be created within jobpilot. Here applicants will find editorial articles from the German Financial Times relating to the sectors of personnel management and finance.

The new service allows advertisers to be present in three job markets simultaneously: jobpilot.de, positionet.de and, as a standard ad (25 x 4 columns), in the printed edition of PositioNet. The price for the package of advertisements is 995 Euro and can be booked online under positionet.de or at jobpilot.de.

For employers and staff agencies who are looking for qualified personnel in the finance and e-business sector, the combination of the specialized print and online coverage provided by the German Financial Times and jobpilot is a first-choice service, Frauke Mekelburg, manager of PositioNet at Financial Times Deutschland believes: One working partner, for three contexts. This arrangement increases the range of the job adverts and the response that can be expected without increasing the expenditure for ordering and transaction on the customer side.

The supply of vacant positions in the finance and e-business sector will experience strong growth, says Dr. Roland Metzger, Chairman of the Board of Jobs & Adverts. The companies and the applicants will profit equally from this strategic cooperation and find the suitable candidate or job even more quickly and effectively.
