jewish.co.uk partners with jobpilot - 06/2001

to offer its users new career opportunities

jobpilot.co.uk has signed an exclusive 12-month partnership with jewish.co.uk (www.jewish.co.uk), the UKs leading independent and non-commercial Jewish community portal and resource. The agreement means jewish.co.uk users will have access to jobpilot's vast selection of job opportunities across a wide range of industries and locations.

Visitors to the portal will be able to search for a number of top jobs in the jewish.co.uk careers section, situated on its homepage, by simply typing in a job category. jobpilot.co.uk's database offers information about thousands of jobs throughout the UK and Europe, including positions in IT, legal, healthcare, financial and banking sectors. In addition to the job search facility, jewish.co.uk will also be offering its users weekly emailed updates of jobpilot's top jobs of the week.

Commenting on the partnership, a jewish.co.uk spokesperson said: We are always looking at ways to improve the service we offer our users, and see our partnership with jobpilot as an excellent means of helping to enhance the careers of the anglo-jewish community. We chose jobpilot because we felt it provided the depth and range of professional careers that would best appeal to our visitors.

Pat Elliott, managing director of jobpilot.co.uk commented: This agreement with jewish.co.uk is the latest in a number of partnerships with other online communities such as uk.gay.com and handbag.com. Developing such relationships is key to jobpilot because it links us with users that can best take advantage of what we are offering, and in turn helps drive the right type of traffic to our site.

jewish.co.uk is one of only three sites shortlisted for the Best Website category for the Commission for Racial Equality's Race in this year's Media Awards.
