IRP Awards – the shortlist is announced

After much discussion and deliberation, the REC is proud to announce the finalists for the inaugural Institute of Recruitment Professionalsí (IRP) Awards

After much discussion and deliberation, the REC is proud to announce the finalists for the inaugural Institute of Recruitment Professionalsí (IRP) Awards.

The REC received a bumper crop of entries demonstrating how much the recruitment industry acknowledges the importance of these new awards and the prestige it will bring the winners in each of the 13 categories.

The entries now go forward to the glittering awards ceremony at the HAC, Central London on the 26th November. The standards and the quality of the entries gave the judges enormous difficulty choosing because of the commitment and dedication shown by those recruitment professionals.

The RECís Chief Executive and awards judge Kevin Green said: ìSelecting those to go on the shortlist gave rise to numerous debates and discussions. It was a tough job, but we now have a list of fantastic finalists all of whom we all wish every success at the awards ceremony.

Fellow judge, Clare Normanton, HR Director at Eurostar said: ìWinning one of the awards will show their clients, candidates and peers just how seriously they take their standards of professionalism as a recruiter and indeed, as an ambassador for this dynamic industry.î

The identities of the winners will remain a closely guarded secret until the awards ceremony itself which takes place on Thursday 26th November at 7pm following on from the RECís first-ever National Convention.
