HR Consultancy will focus on Entrepeneurs

HR expert and columnist Ruth Cornish has re-launched her company to focus on delivering ambitious HR for entrepreneurs or entrepreneurial organisations

Amelore (formerly Ruth Cornish Ltd) has opened its new HQ in the Cotswolds and will focus on new and fast-growing businesses, as well as providing HR support to existing City and retail clients.

Originally founded in 2010 by Ruth Cornish, Amelore provides HR services for growth businesses, as well as coaching and career strategy to senior, high-profile individuals.

Founder and Managing Director Ruth Cornish has a background in investment banking, City and senior HR roles, including with the Environment Agency.

Ruth said: “In many sectors HR still has a reputation as a necessary evil, but I’ve found that the best entrepreneurs understand how really good HR gives a growing business a competitive advantage. Through our work with Notonthehighstreet.com we’ve seen how getting the right people and structure in place can help a business thrive. That’s what Amelore is here to provide - HR for ambitious clients who really want to succeed.”

The company is also developing online personal and professional development tools, offering companies an alternative to traditional appraisal and monitoring systems.

Amelore’s clients include retail brands Monica Vinader, Notonthehightstreet.com and Roksanda, as well as Children’s Centre, academic, professional and financial services.

Ruth Cornish is a Human Resources expert with more than 25 years’ experience. She’s worked for American Express, city investment banks ABN Amro & Charterhouse and the Environment Agency.
