Mrs Williamson, who isoriginally from Dunfermline, is a HR specialist with 18 years of experience of working in human resource roles in large and smaller organisations. As a recent law graduate, Miss McFarlane, from Aberdeen, is helping Empire clients ensure they are up-to-date with current employment law by revising contracts and employmenthandbooks and setting HR policy documentation for new clients.

Of the recent appointments, CEO Steve Cook, said: “These appointments are vital to Empire’s growth. As employment law becomes increasingly relevant, Gillian’s experience and expertise will enable Empire to offer its Employment Law Advisory Service to even more clients. Janey is a welcome addition to our expanding team offering employment law support.”

Mrs Williamson said: “HR is becoming increasingly varied as new employment laws bring increasing challenges for businesses, and in my role at Empire I am looking forward to using my experience to advise the diverse range of clients on all aspects of HR.”

Miss McFarlane said: “The way we all work is changing, and I am looking forward to helping clients stay on top of the latest employment regulations, whilst maintaining a harmonious workplace.”
