Hotmail & Virgin deal - 04/2001

-

GoJobsite has signed two major new partnerships with Virgin, one of the nation's largest and most visible portals and MSN Hotmail, the world's biggest and best-known web based email service.

The partnerships will allow GoJobsite to continue to extend its lead in the online recruitment market sector and build on its international profile.

The Virgin tie up will run for 12 months. GoJobsite will have banners running on their home page and Careers Channel, backed up by a job search engine on the Jobs and Careers home page.

With a logo and text links throughout MSN's Careers Channel, GoJobsite will have access to MSN's high volume of users, with the potential to increase traffic to GoJobsite.

Hotmail subscribers can also sign up for the Webcourier weekly newsletter. This will be packed with career news and advice from GoJobsite, encouraging them to register for the full range of services, including, jobs by email, CV online and careers advice.

The deal with MSN also puts GoJobsite in the number one position within the MSN search engine, with nearly 30% click through rate already being racked up.

With nearly 60,000 new jobs on the site at any one time and web traffic constantly rising, currently at 36,000 a day, strategic partnerships will give GoJobsite the exposure it needs to keep several steps ahead of the game.
