Graduates shun print media

.

Graduates donít have newspaper print on their fingers because only 17% of graduates use the traditional method of wading through newspapers as their main search-tool for a job, compared to 26% of graduates who prefer to log on to the Internet, according to research conducted on behalf of online recruitment specialists TopJobs.

TopJobsí UK marketing director Liz Ramsbottom comments: ìThis is great news for online recruiters like TopJobs. These graduates have grown-up with the web and as more Internet-savvy professionals come into the jobs market, online recruitment services will be their most natural choice.î

Other places graduates plan to search for a job, include: graduate fairs (24%), recruitment consultancies (18%), writing directly to companies (12%) and only 4% relying on the traditional milk round.
