Top Jobs on the Net has been voted the best website for graduate job-hunters by International Marketing Consultancy, Frost & Sullivan.

The survey, undertaken at Oxford University, measured the increasing penetration of the Internet amongst graduates and under-graduates. It found that 77.9 percent of the students surveyed use the Internet regularly to look at job sites in their hunt for work.

The most popular website with graduates was Top Jobs on the Net with 26.4 percent of the sample surveyed having used the site to look for jobs. This was followed by Monster with 24 percent, and StepStone with 18.4 percent. Other recruitment sites to feature in studentís searches included Reed Online, Fish 4 Jobs, jobpilot, Jobs Unlimited, Graduate Base and Activate.

The most popular category for job searches was Consultancy, with 40.2 percent, followed by Marketing, with 30.3 percent of graduates. Behind this came Sales at 11.5 percent and IT at just 7.4 percent. Local government jobs also attracted 7.4 percent interest, and just 3.3 percent were after Engineering positions.

This survey by Frost & Sullivan proves that going online improves your chances of finding the top graduates.î

Top Jobs on the Net has a dedicated graduate recruiter service, TopGrads, with extensive company information available to jobseekers. This allows graduates to find about a business, its culture and vision, permitting candidates to self screen themselves before applying. Therefore employers receive a smaller number of better qualified candidates.
