Worktrain, the Governmentís national jobs and learning site has won a British Computer Society medal in their annual IT awards. It was developed with significant help from the University of Warwickís Institute for Employment Research (IER). Launched last year, Worktrain aims to bring together Government held information of interest to anyone looking for work or seeking to develop their career.
Links allow users to search in a natural way for relevant training when looking for a job, and search for the jobs appropriate to different areas of training. Plans are in place to link in information from a national database of voluntary opportunities.
