The administrative headache facing staffing agencies triggered by the arrival of the workplace pension has officially ended with the launch of Paycircle Easy Enrol — a cloud-based, fully automated and FREE auto-enrolment platform created by agency experts and tech whizzes at payroll specialists, Paycircle.

Paycircle Easy Enrol is like no other agency workplace pension solution currently on the market: anyone, not just trained staff or payroll specialists, can use it and agencies can effortlessly import data from any timesheet management or booking system in the blink of an eye via a powerful and easy-to-use dashboard.

The Paycircle engine then automates the monthly pension assessment process, identifying temps who qualify, tracking opt-ins and opt-outs and, if allowed, enabling payment holidays with the pension provider — while monitoring all relevant costs in real time. It also issues automatic updates to temps about their current pension eligibility and any status changes.

As a fully automated auto-enrolment platform, Paycircle Easy Enrol plugs temp workers’ pensions straight into the Government-backed NEST workplace pension scheme via NEST’S dedicated API. No effort, no fuss and no advice costs for agencies: they can relax in the knowledge their workers are investing in a fully diversified and appropriately structured pension fund.

Crucially, the auto-enrolment element of Paycircle Easy Enrol is 100% free. Agencies simply pay £1 per temp per month for the underlying payroll service. For larger agencies, however, Paycircle is happy to discuss bespoke fee packages.

Paycircle Easy Enrol has been built to make everything about the new workplace pension crystal clear not just for agencies but for temps, too. In their own personal portal, workers can access their latest pay, tax and pension info any time, from any device. Where applicable, they can see that same data from multiple agencies, too.

In their portal, they can easily manage their workplace pensions across multiple employers – opting-in, opting-out, or choosing to take payment holidays. Importantly, they can view their pay history and access all relevant documents — from payslips and P45s to P60s — any time they like. Find it hard to keep track of what you’re earning across all your agency work, and worried you’re not paying the right amount of tax? Not any more.

Paycircle Easy Enrol launches at a time when nearly a third of agencies (32%) in a recent poll* said they considered auto-enrolment “a total pain”, while one in five considered it to be “a minor headache”.

Catherine Pinkney, co-founder, Paycircle Easy Enrol, commented:

“For agencies, auto-enrolment is proving an administrative hell. There are so many variables involved relative to standard companies that not being compliant, and risking fines from the regulator, is an ever-present threat. With Easy Enrol, we believe we’ve created the solution and, best of all, one that’s completely free. Our technology has automated the process of calculating which workers are eligible in any one month, and which are not, for example, those who have taken a payment holiday or simply didn’t earn enough in a particular month. For the temp worker, meanwhile, it offers a one-stop shop and online environment where they can manage their entire pay and pension worlds free from all technical jargon — and across multiple agencies where relevant.”
