Jobseekers will soon be able to ëzapí their way into employment with the aid of their TV remote controls.
A new deal struck between Leamington-based Jobsin.co.uk and Job Channel Ltd will link millions of viewers to hundreds of thousands of job vacancies, beamed directly through the TV screen - and all at the touch of a button.
Under the agreement, Jobsin ñ which is chaired by IT entrepreneur Bob Morton - will provide Job Channel with unrivalled access to a massive number of vacancies covering a huge range of trades and professions.
The deal reaches a huge, untapped market of job seekers, says Jobsin managing director Gary Beresford.
He said: ìAlmost everyone is happy to use a TV remote control, and the deal we have just signed with Job Channel means they can now hunt for a new job from the comfort of their own armchair.î
Explaining the benefits for employers, Gary Beresford said: ìThis deal greatly enhances our ëhere, there and everywhereí strategy and provides businesses with a larger distribution channel to access jobseekers, and in particular the passive jobseeker who is loyal and hard working.î
