Fast-growth profits push Thomsons Online Benefits up The Sunday Times Fast Track Index

Thomsons Online Benefits listed fourth in national business league table

Thomsons Online Benefits, global SaaS provider of employee benefits solutions, has been ranked fourth in The Sunday Times Profit Track 100, the league table listing Britain's 100 private companies with the fastest-growing profits.

The latest table sees the company achieve its highest ranking yet, following a strong financial performance in FY2013, during which the firm’s revenues leap by 12% to £36.7 million. In 2014 Thomsons accelerated its transition into a global SaaS business, with its Darwin™ software now being used in over 70 countries. 2014 also saw the highest investment ever into the technology platform, at over £10m, which will result in several market-changing software releases in 2015.

Continuing its investment in people and processes, Thomsons has grown rapidly internationally in 2014, in particular with the establishment of a strong US sales team to drive global partnerships and clients.

Michael Whitfield, CEO and co-founder of Thomsons Online Benefits comments; “Our continued presence and elevation up the ranks of The Sunday Times Fast Track is something I’m immensely proud of. Over the years we have featured in several of the Fast Tracks, and this prestigious position this time is our best ever. It is a tribute to the hard work of over 425 passionate Thomsons people, who dedicate themselves every day to helping our clients engage their employees with their benefits, using our Darwin™ software.

Our combination of brilliant people, continued investment into Darwin™ and a rapidly expanding global partner network, have taken this firm from an ambitious British mid-cap, to a truly global enterprise. We have an amazing few years ahead with many more successes and I can’t wait to see it all come to fruition”.
