Essex jobseekers urged to hop aboard the Jobserve bus

.

ESSEX commuters and people who have lost their jobs are being invited to an open evening on board online recruitment firm Jobserveís new double decker job bus.

The stunning bus equipped with high tech satellite technology is touring railway stations in Colchester, Kelvedon, Witham, Chelmsford and Hatfield Peverel as well as business parks in the coming days. The firmís staff will then be issuing invitations to commuters to attend an open evening at Jobserveís HQ on the Tower Business Park in Tiptree. Invitations are also being sent to local recruitment agencies who will be interested to see how the bus is working to attract candidates to use the Jobserve website.

Anyone who attends the open evening on Thursday July 4th will be given a tour of the bus and enjoy a barbecue and refreshments. They will also be able to look at the thousands of jobs in IT, accounting, banking, engineering, legal and medical, secretarial and administration that are on offer around the UK and abroad on the Jobserve website at www.jobserve.com.

The personal invitation to hop on board the Jobserve bus, to see where Jobserve operates from and meet the Jobserve team, comes from well-known Essex entrepreneur Robbie Cowling, who is thrilled with how the bus is being received and how itís working for his business.

ìEveryone is intrigued by it, and once they come on board, chat to our staff who show them exactly what Jobserve is all about and how it can work for them, they subscribe to our service with no hesitation. The bus is a fantastic way to reach out to people who are looking for a new job and show them how best Jobserve can help them find their next career or contract opportunity.î

The online recruitment firm has spent 150,000 refurbishing the bus and kitting it out with 20 space age style workstations with the latest flat screen computer monitors. It is powered using specially developed satellite technology so that it can connect to the Internet no matter where it is and will have its own super silent generator which will enable it to be completely self sufficient.

The distinctive bus has been refurbished inside and sprayed with the Jobserve colours and logos by Kent-based specialists Preston Street, who also carried out the conversion of the bus that appeared in the Spice Girls movie.

The Open Evening is being held at Jobserveís offices on Tower Business Park in Kelvedon Road, Tiptree and gets underway at 6pm. Anyone who is interested in coming is asked just to turn up. Anyone who would like more information can call Jobserve on 01621 817335.
