Dynamic Interaction - New-Look Workforce Web Site goes Live

.

Leading HR software specialist, Intellect, has unveiled its new-look Workforce web site - at www.workforcehr.com. The brainchild of Commercial Director Sarah Pettitt, Intellect''s new generation web site is designed to provide a high level of interactive services. It features a brand new Client Zone, offering Workforce users fast access to a wide cross-section of product support tools, as well as an easy mechanism to exchange experiences, ask questions and post issues with other users around the country. The
Workforce web site''s comprehensive public area incorporates detailed corporate and product information, including on-line software demonstrations that give a real taste of Workforce''s look and feel, flexibility, and usability.

Commercial Director, Sarah Pettitt, has been working on the new site for the past six months, explaining:
ìThe Client Zone represents a major development, and has been created in direct response to clients'' requests for a truly interactive resource that will help them work more effectively. We envisage this area as being a direct adjunct to our Help Desk, featuring important and requently-changing information, as well as enabling downloads and delivering valuable additional services. Users will be able to download software upgrades, together with associated user documentation, and we will also be giving free access to the entire portfolio of Workforce Manuals, Helpcards and On-Line interactive help files. We anticipate that the Client Bulletin Board will be popular - enabling Workforce users to post queries and requests for help to
the wider Workforce community. This will provide a direct channel to the combined Workforce experience of thousands of users across a hugely diverse range of organisations. We have all come to expect instant access to a high
level of information via the Internet. However, there can be a huge gulf between giving professionals access to lots of information, compared to creating something intrinsically usable, fun and above all, invaluable to
your day to day operation. That was our primary objective with the new Workforce web site - it has been a challenge to develop it, but we are confident that the results will speak for themselves.î

Since its launch in 1989, Intellect''s Workforce has built up a total of more than 10,000 users across the UK and overseas. Combining exceptional versatility and functionality with a good-looking and genuinely easy-to-use
package, the software operates across the Microsoft Windowsô range. Workforce is designed as a completely future-proof product. On-going software upgrades and enhancements are easily installed, with no impact on
user-customisation. Over the past decade

Intellect has established an impressive track record, with Workforce users ranging from huge local and unitary authorities to smaller, highly advanced IT organisations. Hallmarks of the Workforce approach are innovation,
flexibility and user-friendly operation - reflecting Intellect''s long-standing specialisation in the personnel management and HR sector.

The full Workforce line-up includes the recently launched Workforce RDBMS and Workforce Payroll modules, plus Workforce Human Resource Manager, Workforce Public Sector, Workforce Training Manager, Workforce Recruitment
Manager and Workforce Online. Featuring a 32-bit design core, Workforce provides seamless operation across single user PCs, Local Area Networks, plus UNIX and NT Client Server applications on Wide Area Networks.
Irrespective of the operating platform, all users access the system via the same user-friendly Workforce front-end interface. Incorporating a sophisticated Diary facility and on-line email links, Workforce gives HR professionals access to a wider range of tools to streamline their
increasingly demanding role. Workforce Client Server - Intellect''s innovative wafer-thin platform - adds to the picture.
