Gary Armstrong, Head of Analytics for Consumer Healthcare at global healthcare company GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), is to host the next CWJobs.co.uk hangout.

Gary will provide advice to IT jobseekers keen to break into big data, which is expected to create around 4.4 million jobs by 2015[1], and was enlisted after a survey by CWJobs found nearly half (46%) of IT professionals feel skills in data management are going to be more widely required in the future.

Over two thirds (67%) of IT professionals are considering gaining experience in this discipline, with the majority (63%) willing to invest their own time or money to acquire these skills.

The hangout will be hosted on Google+, and take place on 28th November.  IT jobseekers are being encouraged to submit their Big Data career questions via Twitter and the Google+ page in the run up to event – but can also just join the hangout and ask their questions live from 12.30pm.
