CV-Library is the UK’s FIRST job site to reach 11 million searchable CVs

Further confirming its position as the UK’s largest CV database

CV-Library, the UK's leading independent job site, has today announced that its online database now boasts 11 million registered CVs, making it the largest CV database with the highest number of registered CVs in the UK.

CV-Library has reigned as the nation's largest CV database for the last four consecutive years and this looks set to continue. The number of British professionals registering with the job site has increased by 10% in the last seven months alone, making it the only UK job board to reach this significant milestone. In real terms, while other job boards’ measure their success on the amount of registered candidates they boast, CV-Library’s unique position means it is the only UK job site with 11 million searchable CVs.

In addition, the job site continues to break records when it comes to site visits, job applications and vacancies, and with over 150,000 new CVs being registered every month, CV-Library is continuing to solidify its position as the market leader.

Lee Biggins, founder and managing director of CV-Library, comments: “We are the UK’s leading independent job site, with the most searchable CVs out of any other database. This places us in a unique position against our major competitors who are lagging behind when it comes to the amount of CVs that they actually hold. Ultimately, this means our clients have exclusive access to the latest talent pool, enabling them to find the right candidates for their roles. This new milestone is a testament to the business’ core focus: creating a talent pool of the UK’s most qualified candidates.

“Our success is largely down to the investment we make in attracting candidates to our site. We aim to give job hunters the best experience possible and I truly believe that we are achieving this. Our expansion into London, Birmingham and Manchester this year means we are continuing to place the CV-Library brand in front of the UK’s largest populations and it’s clearly paying off. As we go on to not only set, but break our own records, we anticipate that the growth of our database, and the company, will remain strong well into 2017 and beyond.”

CV-Library was founded by Biggins in 2000 as a response to his own frustrating job search experience, and has grown into the UK’s leading independently owned job board. For further information on CV-Library and to view its extensive database of 11 million job hunters, seewww.cv-library.co.uk.
