Class People recruit with education in mind

Class People, the leading independent education recruitment specialists in the South-West, present three new appointments for their rapidly growing Exeter branch.

The new recruits however offer far more than recruitment experience. Each new appointment has experience of the education sector from different sides of the industry. With a teacher, a governor and a school business manager Class People hope to strengthen their team to aid the branches growth.

Lynis Basset, Chief Executive Officer, explains;

“We are delighted to welcome Gill, Stefan and Mareena to Class People. We have been rapidly building our presence in the Devon area. We have always been dedicated to raising the standards of supply and ensuring a better education for all. By sticking to our routes of employing professionals with an education background we are able to demonstrate our knowledge of the sector and work together in an effective way.”

New branch manager, Gill Hobson, a current school governor at White Rock Primary School, is confident in her knowledge of the needs and demands of schools to expand the clients and services to more schools and SEN establishments in Devon.

Gill Hobson, Exeter branch manager, Class People adds;

“My 16 years in recruitment joined with the association with the School I can combine these skills to enhance any school in helping them secure the best educational teachers for their school, which is my key reason for joining Class People, I know their Ethos is mirrored by my own. They have immense Integrity – They are Empathetic – They are High Performance and Different. They do not follow trends they set them.”

Joining Gill Hobson at the Exeter Branch is Stefan Gilborson and Mareena Anderson-Thorne. Stefan, a qualified secondary teacher and previous supply teacher, joins Class People to look after the Taunton area. By employing teachers as educational consultants Class People repeat their previous successes and re-tread the tried and tested track record by committing to having a qualified teacher in every branch.  Mareena is a previous administration team leader originating from a well-regarded client of Class People Exeter, whose roles there involved those of a business manager.

Mareena, senior recruitment consultant, explains;

“Having been responsible for supply during a very challenging time, Class People offered reliable and quality educational professionals for both day to day supply, contracts and permanent recruitment, thoroughly vetted, well organised and a friendly service. Their pride and passion in their service was contagious and one I wanted to part of”

With Class People’s increasing nominations for national awards it is important they continue to recruit high quality professionals.
