Bullhorn Founder and CEO Art Papas Joins JA Worldwide’s Global Council

JA Worldwide, one of the world’s largest youth-serving NGOs, has announced that Art Papas, founder and CEO of Bullhorn®, the cloud computing company that helps staffing and recruiting organisations transform their businesses, has joined the JA Worldwide Global Council.

Global Council members have an abiding belief in the mission of JA Worldwide, an interest in engaging in JA’s regional and global events, the capacity and desire to significantly support JA, and an enthusiasm for attracting additional supporters to the organisation. Members are senior professionals of exceptional stature who can inspire young entrepreneurs, participate in JA events, and mentor JA’s global staff.

“I’m thrilled to join the JA Worldwide Global Council,” Papas said. “JA Worldwide is an outstanding organisation that’s committed to fostering our youth’s entrepreneurial ideas. I’m excited to share my entrepreneurial background and, along with my other council members, help positively impact the lives of young people who are seeking to create encouraging business changes across the world.”

Papas recently spoke at the opening of the first-ever European Summit for Entrepreneurship Education, hosted by JA Europe. The summit gathered experts, educators, researchers, business representatives, and policymakers to discuss how Europe can become more competitive by providing more entrepreneurship education to young people. During his discussion, Papas reflected on his own education and advocated that JA can help students achieve their entrepreneurial goals.

Named both an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year and a Glassdoor Highest-Rated CEO, Papas joins JA Global Council founding member William Schawbel, whose JA involvement dates to 1956, as well as other globally minded corporate leaders, entrepreneurs, JA alumni, former board members, and organisation supporters.

“Art Papas is a perfect fit for the JA Global Council, especially as our organisation approaches our centennial and commits to serving even more young people across the globe,” said Brandie Conforti, JA’s global head of development. “Art’s experience as both a successful entrepreneur and a respected CEO more than qualify him to serve with our other prestigious Global Council members. We’re incredibly grateful for Art’s commitment to helping JA reach more students in more areas in more innovative ways.”
