APSCo launches new contract review telephone service

A new contract review service – which promises a telephone call back within 24 hours – has been launched by The Association of Professional Staffing Companies (APSCo)

A new contract review service – which promises a telephone call back within 24 hours – has been launched by The Association of Professional Staffing Companies (APSCo).

Operated in conjunction with Hendons LLP, the service gives recruitment firms the ability to talk through issues pertaining to contracts presented to them by their clients to give clarity on the obligations, risks and liabilities which are included in the contract.

“Our feedback told us that one of the biggest issues facing members was the speed of response and advice,” says Samantha Hurley, Head of External Relations and Compliance at APSCo. “Quite often recruitment firms can receive a contract on a Monday – with the contractor starting work on, say, the Wednesday and so speed is of the essence.  Our feedback also told us that members appreciate the ability to talk though issues rather than just receiving a written response – and obviously a telephone call is much more cost effective than having to write up a summary .”

Members simply fill in an online form and attach the contract and are guaranteed a call back and 30 minutes of advice within 24 hours.

Full details can be found on the APSCo website.
