Thatís the advice recruiters should be told to expect when posting branded adverts online. Applicant measurement analysis of 1000s of postings using 60 top job boards in the last year shows that response is likely to come from over 50 countries. Against UK based positions, applications have been received from 143 different countries. This phenomenon does not just apply to the UK. Experience of posting jobs across Europe and Canada indicate similar findings. Not surprisingly, the majority of Overseas response comes from countries like India, USA, Canada, South Africa and Pakistan but applications have been received from such far away places as Brunei, Saint Kitts & Nevis and the Cayman Islands. If only there were jobs open there!
