One of the UK’s leading recruitment agencies, Scantec has launched a new rail recruitment division in response to increasing demand across the UK.

The company has appointed recruitment specialist Adam Carrington to work alongside Paul Gibbens, with a further two team members to be recruited later this year. Gibbens has ten years’ experience in the senior recruitment market and was recently appointed as Client Services Director, shortly after a celebration to mark 25 years in business for the firm.

Paul said: “Scantec is an industry leader in global recruitment in specialist areas such as infrastructure, nuclear and utilities; this new division will develop our business further as we support clients with a wide range of appointments throughout the rail product life cycle.

Business has been building in this area for a while, and Adam’s appointment signifies investment and a commitment to strengthening our capabilities in this area.”

With 25 years in the business, Scantec has its headquarters in Wirral, operating from purpose built headquarters with more than 50 recruitment professionals. With clients across the globe, Scantec placed a monthly average of 922 temporary workers into positions last year.
