MyJobMatcher.com invests in website upgrade

MyJobMatcher.com, the online recruitment specialist, has invested in upgrading its jobseeker website as it looks to underpin its reputation as the world’s leading recruitment website

MyJobMatcher.com, the online recruitment specialist, has invested in upgrading its jobseeker website as it looks to underpin its reputation as the world’s leading recruitment website.

The improvements, which include a whole host of new and intelligent applications designed to improve the jobseeker journey, comes as the business looks to launch into the US in 2015.

Part of Opinio Group, MyJobMatcher.com is the only place where jobseekers can be matched to available jobs based on the individual skills and experience on their CV. Users simply upload their CV, enter their criteria and are instantly matched with their most relevant jobs.

Now responsive across smartphone and tablet platforms, MyJobMatcher.com’s technical and creative teams have completely rebuilt the site to include contemporary branding, a bespoke matching system, advanced keyword filters, greater accuracy for locations and an entirely new user interface to improve the jobseeker experience.

Chris Smith, CEO at MyJobMatcher.com, said: “MyJobMatcher.com has experienced immense growth and popularity in its first 18 months. It now has over 1.5 million people registering, 6.5 million unique users and over 800,000 jobs advertised in at any one point. So it’s important that we not only deliver a better standard of job matching, but do so on a much larger scale as we continue to expand. The new site can now match users to jobs over 10 times more quickly than previously.

“Our overall aim is for MyJobMatcher.com to be recognised as the world’s leading career brand through the creation of great technology that works. In future, MyJobMatcher.com will be much more agile as new features can be simply ‘bolted on’, making the site even more user-focused.”

Arran Stewart, CTO at MyJobMatcher.com, explained: “One of our greatest challenges was allowing our users to specify when they wanted a change in career without constantly receiving job notifications about roles that were suitable to their previous work life.  The new system introduces an intelligent keyword section that provides priority to keywords that a user enters, allowing more job options to reach their inbox.”

Chris added: “We are confident that users will appreciate the work and effort that has gone into improving the site and we have already seen in increase in visitors to the site. 2015 is set to an exciting year for all involved with MyJobMatcher.com and our new website is just the start. Watch this space!”
