HireVue Announces International Expansion into Europe and Asia Pacific

Talent Interaction Platform Provider Appoints Darren Jaffrey to Lead International Operations, Opens Office in London and Outlines Details of EMEA Launch Event

Leading Talent Interaction Platform™ provider HireVue, today announced international expansion to support its rapidly growing customer base and strong global demand, including users in over 120 countries. HireVue clients include more than 20 percent of the Fortune 100 as well as top global brands such as Vodafone, Random House, and Randstad. Companies use HireVue’s digital recruiting solutions to modernize their existing recruiting efforts through video, social and mobile-enriched interactions.  The platform augments existing HR systems to improve the candidate experience, increase recruiter productivity, and reduce time and costs by upward of 50 percent.

Darren Jaffrey joins HireVue as General Manager, EMEA & APAC, based out of the new HireVue London office, which opened on February 1, 2014.  Jaffrey previously held roles as SVP, International Operations at Taleo and COO at MrTed.  Having worked in London, Singapore and Sydney throughout his career, Jaffrey has proven experience establishing and growing technology-based entrants in Europe and APAC.

“There’s an exciting transformation taking place in workforces around the world. We’re excited to move closer to our growing global customer base and become part of this movement to modernize the way we work,” said Mark Newman, Founder and CEO, HireVue.  “Unlike many companies that take global expansion casually, we're very serious about our commitment to the local markets in Europe and Asia Pacific.  The combination of Darren’s deep roots in both of these regions and strong track record leading major companies in the HCM category sets HireVue up for great international success.”

“Businesses in Europe and Asia Pacific are inherently more distributed, mobile and need to do more with less.  Existing HR systems lack the world-class candidate experience, speed and consistency provided by HireVue’s talent interaction platform,” said Jaffrey, “The company is poised for explosive growth in the global market by partnering with companies large and small to accelerate and improve the way they recruit talent.”

HireVue’s European launch will be initiated with an invitation-only evening reception on March 26, 2014 at the Hospital Club, London. For more information on HireVue’s services in Europe and to request an invitation their launch event on March 26, please visit: http://learn.hirevue.com/helloemea

The expansion will include in-region technology infrastructure and business operations comprised of customer support, professional services and sales resources. International growth comes on the heels of significant momentum for the company, including recognition such as the Forbes Top 10 “Most Promising Companies in America” list, the Inc. Magazine Hire Power award, the top 50 ranking in Deloitte’s Annual Fast 500, and the Brandon Hall “Best Advance in Talent Acquisition Technology” award. In the past six months, HireVue has also secured a joint collaboration with LinkedIn and an integration agreement with Salesforce, among other partners, as well as announced the acquisition of the world’s most advanced interview coordination software, Reschedge.  These developments have powered an expanded platform that includes HireVue’s flagship digital screening and live interviewing capabilities, as well as new solutions for sourcing, skills validation and onboarding
