Glassdoor introduces localised enhanced profiles

Allows Employers to Personalise their Employer Brand by Specific Countries

Glassdoor, the world’s most transparent jobs and career marketplace, today introduced the ability to localise ‘Enhanced Profiles’, giving employers the ability to customise their brand story in countries where they are trying to recruit. Now, companies have the option to localise their profiles to meet the demands and speak to the specific interests of local talent in any country where Glassdoor has a localised website and mobile apps.

Deloitte and L’Oreal are just a few of the early adopter Glassdoor clients that have already localised their Enhanced Profiles to better reach top talent throughout the world. Currently, more than 2,100 employer clients are using Glassdoor’s recruiting solutions to advertise jobs and showcase their employer brands.

“In our experience, the most successful global recruiting teams tailor their employer brand to resonate with the needs and wants of candidates in each country they operate,” said Diarmuid Russell, SVP of International. "When employers personalise their brand, we find that their success in attracting the best talent far surpasses the efforts of other companies who use a “one-size-fits-all” approach. Glassdoor Enhanced Profiles enables our clients to quickly and easily personalise their message and attract the best talent.”

“The ability to localise Glassdoor Enhanced Profiles allows us to more effectively share with candidates relevant information about what makes our company a great place to work and showcase the jobs we have open in the areas where they reside,” explained Deloitte Market Awareness and Brand Cultivation Leader Jennifer Powell.

With Enhanced Profiles, companies like Auto Trader UK, Cisco, and St. Dominic Hospital are able to tell their employer branding stories with dynamic branded content like “Why Work for Us” messaging, photos, videos and social media integration.  Equally important, employers can add to their profile their local jobs, an engaging cover photo, company awards and details about their benefits packages. As a result, Cisco, which took advantage of a Glassdoor Enhanced Profile and job advertising products, was able to hire 24 high-level professionals in two years and saw their profile generate more than one million views from potential job candidates.

Employers who use Glassdoor Enhanced Profiles often find increased awareness among local job seekers, as well as better applicant quality.  For example, Wilson HCG reported double the applicant quality when using Glassdoor when compared to other jobs sites. In addition, clients with Enhanced Profiles report, on average, three to 10 times more traffic than company pages on LinkedIn.1

Glassdoor is currently available in three languages including English, French and German, and is localised across seven countries including the U.S., UK, France, Germany, Australia, India and Canada. On average, 23 million unique visitors come to Glassdoor each month to find jobs and research companies, and 25 percent of that traffic comes from outside the U.S. Approximately, two-thirds of Glassdoor users are job seekers.
