Glassdoor expands European footprint with new Swiss, Austrian and Belgian platforms

Sites and Mobile Apps Provide Latest Jobs and Greater Workplace Transparency Into Employers

Glassdoor, the global jobs and recruiting marketplace,expands across Europe this week as the company introduces its platform to Switzerland, Austriaand Belgium.  With the debut of these country-specific sites and mobile apps, Glassdoorprovides job seekers in each country the ability to see the latest open jobs and relevantemployee-provided insights into particular companies. In addition, Glassdoor offers employers ahost of tools to promote their jobs and brand to target job candidates.

Glassdoor now offers Swiss, Austrian and Belgian job seekers well over 100,000 job listings andfirst-hand insights into more than 8,000 employers in these three countries, including leadingemployers such as Credit Suisse, IMEC and Nestlé. Insights into companies include employee-provided company reviews, salary reports, interview reviews, benefit reviews and office photos.Globally, Glassdoor has more than 10 million reviews, salary reports and other types of contentfor 445,000 employers.  
 
Glassdoor uses a ‘give-to-get’ model, offering free access to all Glassdoor data once a usercontributes their own content, such as a salary report or company review. Job listings are alwaysaccessible by anyone, any time.  No other jobs platform combines job listings with this level ofdepth and detail into specific jobs at specific companies.
 
In addition, approximately 3,000 employers are leveraging Glassdoor’s job advertising andemployer branding products to help recruit and influence job candidates. Employers can takeadvantage of Glassdoor’s Enhanced Profile to increase influence, build awareness and recruitbetter candidates through customized messages and content.
 
More than 54,000 employers are also using a Glassdoor Free Employer Account that allowsemployers to respond to reviews, make basic profile updates and flag any reviews that may beinappropriate. Plus with a free employer account, an official company representative can gainvaluable insights and analytics to understand what influences their hiring efforts and reputation.
