CV-Library introduces new video interviewing functionality for clients

The UK’s leading independent job board, CV-Library, is delighted to announce that it has introduced new functionality for its clients, enabling recruiters to arrange video interviews with candidates, directly through the CV-Library platform for free.

To set up a video interview, recruiters simply need to view a candidate’s profile and select Video interview’ from the ‘Recruiter options’ menu. A unique URL is then generated, which the user can copy and send over to the candidate via email.

The service is completely free of charge and the update comes at a time where more people are working from home than ever before. This provides a great solution for recruiters who can no longer meet with candidates face-to-face.

Lee Biggins, founder and CEO of CV-Library, comments:

Video interviewing isn’t anything new, but it’s definitely grown in popularity over the past month as more businesses adapt to our new normal. We’re proud to be helping the nation’s recruiters continue with their hiring efforts, and while it will take some getting used to, its the only real solution for hiring and holding onto professionals who are pushing forward right now.”

This latest update follows a string of product developments from the leading job board. This includes the full launch of its Search Builder, a handy tool which helps users to build the most effective Boolean strings and source the right candidates. It also launched ‘Quick Apply’ last year, where recruiters can specify if a CV isn’t mandatory to apply to their job; this is helping to boost applications, particularly in industries where it isn’t common to have a CV.

Biggins continues:

“Our teams work tremendously hard to push through new and exciting features and we were delighted to win the ‘Technical Innovation Award’ at the 2020 OnRec Awards last month. We’re already receiving positive feedback from clients on all of our latest updates which is great; especially as we want to ensure we’re always providing the tools that UK recruiters need.”
