Cordant Recruitment Launches A Further Two Specialist Consultancies

Cordant Recruitment, the second-largest privately owned recruitment company in the UK, has launched two new specialist consultancies, Cordant Dynamic (IT, Microsoft Dynamics and the Microsoft stack of business services) and Cordant Procurement. Both consultancies come under the umbrella of Cordant’s new Professional Services division, led by Managing Director, Sid Barnes, who has just joined from Adecco

Cordant Recruitment, the second-largest privately owned recruitment company in the UK, has launched two new specialist consultancies, Cordant Dynamic (IT, Microsoft Dynamics and the Microsoft stack of business services) and Cordant Procurement. Both consultancies come under the umbrella of Cordant’s new Professional Services division, led by Managing Director, Sid Barnes, who has just joined from Adecco.

New Managing Directors have been brought in to head up the operations. Managing Director of Cordant Dynamic, Edward Bell joined in June 2014, with an outstanding track record in senior staffing and recruitment, having led a number of specialist IT talent resourcing companies. Meanwhile, Joanne Till, Managing Director of Cordant Procurement, joined in November 2014 from a 14-year career at Hays, where she was most recently a Regional Director and previously one of the founders of Hays’ procurement and supply team.

Cordant Dynamic

Cordant Dynamic is based in Manchester and offers consultancy, M&A advice and recruitment for mid to high level technology professionals. It already has over 13 staff in its head office, with plans to grow this to 50 in 2014. This year, it has ambitious expansion plans with proposed office openings in Newcastle upon Tyne, London, Warsaw and Dublin, creating another 50 jobs. Cordant Dynamic’s specialities include: Microsoft Product Stack including Dynamics, IT/ technology; Banking Risk and Analytics; Information Security; Big data and Graphene/nano technology. Its clients include IT and cutting-edge technology companies, as well as end-users in the UK and internationally. It already has a strong presence in the Nordics and Ireland. In 2016, it plans to expand its office network to the Nordic countries, Sydney and New York.

Cordant Procurement

Cordant Procurement is based just outside London, but plan to open further offices in Birmingham and Manchester this year. It currently has a team of six, made up of recruitment specialists, who are also experts in key industries, and procurement professionals. All have been hired especially for the new consultancy and Cordant aims to grow this number to 15 by the end of this year. It is already recruiting for private and public sector organisations both in the UK and internationally, having just won a major contract with a large financial services provider in Abu Dhabi. It will be working on recruiting both permanent and interim staff.

Joanne Till, Managing Director of Cordant Procurement, comments: “Companies, big and small, as well as public sector organisations, are crying out for skilled procurement people, especially in the light of government spending reviews.
