Cielo Launches Exclusive Recruiter Training University in Europe

Recruitment Process Outsourcing Leader Expands
Professional Development Programme Across its Global Operations

Cielo (formerly Pinstripe & Ochre House), the world’s leading provider of global Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) solutions, today announced the launch of its first European recruiter training programme specifically targeted toward early career recruiters.

Focused on those individuals with a strong desire to build a career in recruiting, the programme hones each trainee's professional acumen, communication capabilities, active and passive sourcing techniques, and candidate advocacy, empowering them to become the future leaders in their field.

Following the successful model created in the firm’s U.S. operations, this formal recruiter training programme is one of many continuous learning opportunities and innovative forums Cielo provides to its global recruitment teams as a part of its Recruiting Excellence Programme. Cielo’s Global Resourcing Centres, Sourcing Pods, Technology & Innovation Power Hours and Skill-specific Lunch & Learns are available to all Cielo employees as an investment in their continued professional development.

Seb O’Connell, Executive Vice President and Managing Director – Europe at Cielo, comments:

“This programme is hugely important as we strive to make Cielo the best place to work in our industry. Sustained investment in the professional development of our people will ensure that we attract and retain the world’s best recruiters, giving them the tools and training to help our clients hire the talent needed to achieve their business goals.”

The first intake will see between 15 and 20 students join the course, combining both new and existing employees following a strict curriculum. Upon graduation in September, students will have gained specific recruitment knowledge and modern sourcing techniques grounded in Cielo’s values and WE BECOME YOU™ brand promise. Their attitude, confidence and skills will enable them to seek out the talent that will create a strategic advantage for their clients.

O’Connell continues:

“Finding passionate, career recruiters that are a match for Cielo’s innovative culture can be a challenge, so we’ve decided to tackle the issue head on. As well as hiring the industry’s most talented recruitment professionals, this programme also allows us to ‘grow our own’, building talent by giving our people the acumen they need to become the best recruiters in the industry.”
