The application has been released under the name Jobs Detective, which marks the launch of Umbrella Detective’s new website JobsDetective.co.uk which is set to go live in a few weeks time. The application is available to download from the iTunes AppStore today.
Umbrella Detective’s application gives job seekers access to hundreds of vacancies advertised by the company via an iPhone. Job seekers have the opportunity to refine their search by salary, location and job type, save favourite jobs to a shortlist and email the jobs to themselves or others.
The application also allows job seekers to view available vacancies on a map. By viewing the map from the search screen, the user will see jobs in the town they have entered displayed by push pin icons. Tapping an icon will reveal more information about the job.
