Employment, skills and offender rehabilitation experts Working Links have appointed a new Director of UK Employability

Darren Tranter, joins from G4S where he spent more than three years in a range of roles, most latterly as Chief Operating Officer of its Immigration and Border services. Previously, he has held roles at Capita, Becta, Birmingham City College and Stoke-on-Trent College, among others.

Based in Derby, Darren will be responsible for the delivery of Working Links’ operations including the Work Programme, Work Choice and Family Support contracts as well as a number of more localised services.  

Darren said: “I am delighted to have joined Working Links, especially at such an exciting time for the organisation. Working Links has a strong history of delivering results on behalf of its funders and we are confident of that trend continuing following our recent contract awards.”
