Steve Wortley has been appointed as Managing Director of Oriel Contractors Ltd. Oriel Contractors are a leading specialist provider of contractor payroll solutions and Umbrella services to the recruitment and independent contractor market. Oriel has made this significant new appointment to support the company’s growth strategy for 2011 and beyond.
Steve’s main responsibilities will be to lead and drive the development and growth of the Oriel Contractors division. Oriel contractors has a clear vision to become one of the UK’s top providers of Umbrella and CIS services to contractors and to become a first choice supplier to the UK’s top 250 recruitment agencies and employment businesses.
Steve joins Oriel after having been previously on the main board of the Driver Hire Group the UK’s largest supplier of driving and industrial temporary workers to the logistics industry. During his time with Driver Hire Steve helped the company to achieve year on year double digit growth and also won the highly prestigious franchisor of the year award in 2006. Commenting on his new role Steve said: “I am impressed with Oriel’s ‘can do’ culture. The company has a great pedigree and excellent prospects for future growth. We aim to grow our market share through a continued focus on compliance and ensuring that our services meet our clients’ evolving needs”.
