Kimble Applications appoints new Global Director of Marketing

Brent Spencer has been appointed Kimble Applications’ new Global Director of Marketing, the leading professional services automation (PSA) provider announces today. Based out of Park City, Utah, Brent will be responsible in particular for increasing demand for Kimble in the US, building on a string of new contract wins for the company there in the past 18 months.

Brent joins Kimble with over 20 years’ experience across eight different organizations in the enterprise software and consulting markets.  Most recently, he was Director of Marketing at big data infrastructure provider WANdisco, where his marketing campaigns generated in excess of $25m in qualified opportunities, increasing the volume of leads by 50%.  As a Principal at Sunol Advisors, he also advised on marketing strategies and overall business plans for a number of Silicon Valley-based technology start-ups.  In more than three years spent at Accenture’s telecoms practice, Brent held a number of different technical and project management positions, including client-facing roles.

Sean Hoban, CEO of Kimble Applications, says: “Brent is a terrific addition to the growing Kimble team, with a proven track record in generating business growth both within industry and via consultancy-side roles.  We look forward to seeing Kimble’s explosive growth in the North American market accelerate still further under his marketing stewardship.”

Brent adds: “Kimble is the ultimate professional services automation solution, and an instrumental part of the growth story of hundreds of consultancies across the US and the world.  I’m excited to be a part of what Deloitte just recently confirmed as EMEA’s 13th-fastest-growing technology company as it seeks to build on the successes it has already enjoyed on this side of the Atlantic.”

Brent has also held a leading role at Tata Consultancy Services, where as Director of Product Marketing he spearheaded the company’s creation of collateral, thought leadership, and competitive analysis in collaboration with colleagues across four continents. Prior to this, he helped global auditing and business consultancy Protiviti to more than double IT consulting revenues from Fortune 500 companies to in excess of $100m and, as COO of NIC Products, was responsible for increasing sales revenues by over 60% in just three years.  He has also served as product marketing manager for storage software leader Veritas.
