Five new sales managers to grow Blue Octopus in the South

Otley-based recruiters Blue Octopus got the New Year off to a great start, with the arrival of five new Client Delivery Managers!

The newest additions to the remote-based CDM team will bolster the small company's development in the south of England, covering the Brighton, Essex, East Anglia and Bristol areas.

Peter Veale, Scott Langridge, Jacqui Vagg, Rob Merryfield and Alex Gordon-Seymour began their training with Blue Octopus on 4th January, and come to us from a variety of backgrounds. All have extensive B2B sales experience, and three of the new recruits have worked in the recruitment industry previously. Their experience comes from such employers as TotalJobs, Madgex, Yell and American Express.

Though Blue Octopus has clients based all over the UK, the team will make a real impact as the company's flat-fee online recruitment model proves more successful year on year. With dedicated CDMs already in place in London, and throughout the North and Midlands, Blue Octopus has its sights firmly set on nationwide expansion.

Director Chris Coleman said, 'Having already conquered much of the North, the time was right to bring our innovative approach to recruitment to the rest of the country. 

'After a week of training together I can say I have really high hopes for the team and know their skills and experience will take them far. I'm looking forward to 2016 being a fantastic year for the company's expansion.'

The appointments coincided with Blue Octopus's sixth anniversary and, for a company of just under 50 staff, constitutes one of the biggest additions to the team at one time.
